Ben Cooking

Our little Guy loves to "cook" I think he is pretty dang cute while he is "cooking" too....

Kates Kitchen!

When we bought our home the big selling point was the kitchen! I told Kyle I needed a big kitchen and I sure fell in love with this one... The only thing we wanted was a brighter happier kitchen....

I have been so scared todo anything to it because I didn't want to ruin our house our bathroom turned out alot brighter then I was expecting so I have not wanted the same for the kitchen... But I am coming down with spring fever really bad and I just had to do something so Kyle went skiing and I started painting and thanks to nap time and my awesome sister Darcy for taking Ben one day, This is the result!

I have been really nervous about what people might say... but my wonderful friend Ashley says "its your house who cares" Thank you ashley for putting in prospective! this is so a Katy color kitchen it makes me feel so happy and bright... We are still trying to figure our the backsplash... I like stone and Kyle likes slate... so this will remained unfinished until one of us gives in :)

Starting our Garden

In this house we say that Phil the groundhog was wrong! So we started our seeds for our garden,

Ben was supper excited to play in dirt... it was even more exciting that mommy let him... I was pretty amazed by these awesome seed starters that grow before your eyes... I know i need to get out more! 

We only planted pumpkin seeds tomato plants and broccoli and I am happy to report the broccoli is already growing (starting to question wether I should have planted those with the rest of the crops come spring) oh well

Train Show

Last saturday I took the boys down to the train show Kyle and Ben we both so excited Ben loved all the Choo Choos every new train he saw all he would say is choo choo... It was alot of fun and one day we plan on having our own model train set  to go up in our attic (when its finshed)

Like I have said Ben keeps us on our toes here are some thing he has been up to!

When ever Ben is grumpy about getting in bed Daddy gets in the crib jjust to make him laugh :)

We are awful parents :) Ben has found he can finally grab things off the table... well he grabbed an empty old fashion root beer bottle right off the table and was very sad it was empty afterwards

Ben is getting so big and everyday he is learning and saying new things!
He loves Trains he always whats to play with his "Choo Choo" set ( this weekend I am taking both our boys to a model train show)
He love Dinosaurs he always says "ROAR" when we pull them out
His Favorite Book is Go Dogs Go  He says Doggy Car Car Doggy when ever he pulls it out

Our over Due Christmas post

Yes I know its so over due... well any update is overdue but  better late then never.. I promise I will get better at updating the blog I finally think me and Ban and Kyle have finally formed a decent schedule between life and our new company my House was a mess all the time and I was tired and Ben was cranky he is so the first child you can tell he needs attention around the clock I can't cook clean talk relax or do anything but pay attention to him while he is awake... now he is older he helps me clean and is starting to help me cook.... so life is getting easier I just hope when he grows up he will still find cleaning as fun as he does now...

Christmas was alot more fun this year but still Ben isn't to into the whole thing... I was very proud of our tree this year... Ben is able to do alot more then he was last year so I needed to find a way to have a Ben Friendly tree.... I found a new love of hand sewing and so I started the long but awesome process of sew our ornaments I love them Ben loves them and the cant break! Yay for me!

These Drums were the Highlight of the Day He loved them up until the point Kyles Face became a drum and well he got the toy taken away :)
