Can't wait...

Waiting waiting and more waiting this week...

I am excited and nervous!

A few weeks ago we decided our dishwasher needed to be replaced after almost a year of dealing with it changing settings and turning off randomly... it finally started making a horrid noise.. so we stopped by sears so Kyle could show me his dream Dishwasher... We walked in and it was the friends and family sale..... sweet 15% off the dishwasher if we buy it... Then we walked up to the dishwasher... on sale for 50 dollars off....and if you add Kyles employee Discount to that then thats an extra 10% off... So we ended up getting around 200 ish dollars off of a way nice Dishwasher! And Not to mention quite dishwasher! I am so excited! We get it on wednesday I am so ready to be able to hear Kyle talk to me when the dishwasher is going!

Another big thing that is going on with us Kyle has decided to try and apply for a Job with UTA fixing the trax trains! He is really hoping to get it.. He had the big test last week and we are just waiting to hear from them if he passed or not! We have pins and neddles we are sitting on (Despecible Me have you seen it you should!)

We should hear frm them in the next 3 days the wait has been killing me seriously!

and because I love to show the world how cute little ben is no post is complete with out some pictures!

He is getting so big! Thursday he will be 5 Months! AH! where did the time go! I am still working on getting him to smile for the camera.. but he has a mind of his own!

Saying Bye to Grandpa & 4 Month Check up

Well its for real now my Dad has been gone for over a week now! But Thanks to Skype its been really nice to be able to talk to him!


We have been able to get all of our Christmas stuff down and are moving on with the New Year!
On December 27th Ben turned 4 Months! But we couldn't take him in to get his check up till just this last Friday. At his 2 month appt they didn't have one of his shots so we had to wait 4 weeks in order for him to have it and then that threw off this set of shots so we had to wait a week and a half... But He is a growing boy! 25 inches long in the 45th Percentile 14.5 Lbs which is in the 30th Percentile and his head is 42 cm which is also 30th! So he is a pretty average little guy! We just started Green Beans and man does he HATE them we have to trick him into eating them...
On Sunday as we were talking with Kyle's Mom she recalled a moment of Kyle's childhood when kyle refused to eat his peas but she made him sit at the table until all the Peas were gone.... Kyle made sure his Mom knew how awful she was being by telling her "I will never force my kids to eat nasty food!".....
And yet here we are years later and Kyle is forcing his son to eat green beans....

A New Year

2011 is here! And its time to start out new adventures!
I am hoping for a vrey boring year with no big events besides Ben Turning 1! We will see how that goes!

To start out this year a HUGE change is happening in the Westover Family!

My Parents are moving! Can you believe it!

My Daddy got a Job out in Pennsylvania ! Talk about far away!

So today is my dads last offical day as a resident of Utah! My mom is going to stay out here until the end of the school year and then she is going to head out threre to go and visit! I am still in shock over the whole thing it all happened so fast!

But I am so excited for my parents to start this adventure together!

And its so close to alot of Historic places! I can't wait to go out and visit and see Washington DC!

So my goal is to update the blog alot more this year and keep my parents and everyone else who reads it if anyone does informed of the crazy life we have going on!

On New Years Day we went to visit my Grandparents up in Draper! on the way we decided to stop in SLC and show Ben the Gateway Mall... And See the Plaentarium! Now Ben has walked on Mars and the Moon!

I can't believe he is already 4 months! He is growing up too fast... He loves to stand up and he hates to lay down... He always has to be doing something or watching someone to be happy! I have a feeling we have a little Kyle jr on our hands! He has started Teething and he is not liking that so much... But he still is smiling all the time! I love when I go to get him from his crib in the morning and he gives me a huge smile! He loves his Daddy and I have a feeling he is a daddys boy... His hair is coming back in slowly but surely...

Ben's 1st Chirstmas

Christmas has come and gone! I can't believe how fast time is flying!

Christmas Eve we had our Bethlehem Dinner and Read the Christmas story.. Ben would not have it... He wanted nothing to do with us reading that night He ended up falling asleep on my lap and me and Kyle read the story together... I love the Picture below of him asleep on my lap I am dead Tired but I love when Ben falls asleep on me its now very rare because he doesn't like to cuddle that much... if he is awake he wants to touch everything and he pushes away from me... its so sad I love my cuddle time...

Christmas Morning Ben woke up at 6:30 so me and Kyle got up fed Ben then we opened Presents! Ben was so Nice this year he got me Flowers and he Got Kyle a new Razor! How thoughtful of him!

Ben Got a cute new outfit some toys a highchair and his favorite a walker so he can roll around our kitchen and Dinning room!

We finished up at our house and Headed To Kyle's Parents and we got to talk to his sister Darcy who is Serving a Mission at Winter Quarters... We were also able to skype her which was way neat to actually see her! She was able to meet Ben for the first time! He even gave her a smile!

Then it was off to my parents house to visit with my family! And then we just relaxed all day!

It was a wonderful Christmas! I can't wait till next year when Ben might be interested we will see!

This New Year We had a great time playing Minute to Win it and visiting with our Friends!

Have I mentioned how Awesomeit is that My best Friend married one of Kyle's Friend!

I love being able to hang out with Tyler and Ashley! Brian was also Home for the Holidays and we were able to do some much needed catching up with him! Jason and Jordan were able to drop by for a bit and it was so nice to have all the Boys together (I forgot to take a picture!) One day I will remember when they boys are all together again!

Ben stayed up till about 9:30 with us... then we busted out the games and Myth Buster Videos and counted down to the New Year!
