Surfing in Utah?

So last night Kyle's Co workers invited us to go to the junction in Ogden... They have alot of fun things to do there.... Like the Fat Cats arcade we went to with Ashley and Tyler and a Movie theater (with amazing food!) and an indoor ski diving place and an indoor Surfing pool.... so yes its true in this boring state of Utah you can go surfing who needs California anymore? So me and Kyle decided to go since every other time they have invited us to do something we have always had something going on... so we were going to go and just watch but thankfully Ryan didn't give Kyle that option so while I got to take fun video and pictures Kyle went surfing :) I made a video of it but sadly I am really bad at his whole internet thing so when Kyle has time he will post it for me :)

Girls Day!

This weekend Kyle left on a trip with his family... and Deven and Thom went out to go shooting so that left all the girls at our house with Dad of course... So all of the girls went for a walk! Amy was finally able to find shoes that little Peyton could walk in so peyton was allowed to walk with us instead of using a stroller and instead of being carried around.... Darcy and Haley also had fun teaching Peyton how to play ring around the rosies.... Peyton was really good at the all fall down part.... I am not sure she understood why her cousin and aunt were making her walk in a circle though....

After our walk we all came back to the house and ate pie.... Peyton enjoyed this since I am pretty sure she got to try all different types of pie.... she really liked her Mommy's cheese cake.... Amy had this crazy idea for my parents anniversary..... My parents never had a reception when they were married and everytime we talk about receptions they both mention that they never did so Amy decided to take in upon herself to plan a reception in honor for their wedding anniversary.... However instead of a modren day reception this one will be set in the year they were married 1984.... needless to say everyone is so excited to help plan this reception for them... and Amy yet again has shocked my parents with another amazing idea... that they seem a little worried about

Goodbye Fire and Corn?

Last night Kyle and me had a fire with a few of our friends as kinda a goodbye thing since everyone is heading off to college... it was fun seeing everyone together again since 3 of them have been gone for 2 years on their Missions.... It was funny seeing the change in some people... And hearing all the Remember when moments....















Before we went to the fire Kyle's family makes homemade cream corn about every two years so... Yesterday was the cream corn day.... Have you every seen 30 dozen cobs of corn all together? Well this is what it looks like.....















It was a crazy afternoon! But it was lots of fun and We only found one worm out of all 30 dozen..... and of course I was the one husking that cob!

"All about Katy Day"

Kyle decided to make Saturday an "All about Katy Day" so I had to come up with things that I wanted to do for a full day..... I decided on Red Butte Gardens, Parade of Homes, IKEA, and Glow in the dark Mini Golfing....

However we of course can't have an all about me day with out having the normal Katy Experiences... So of course we got lost not one but 3 times! But its alright we ended up being able to take a beautiful drive through a canyon.... And as hard as it is to believe the leaves are starting to turn.... Which got me all excited for proabaly my favorite season! FALL!!!! The smell and Taste of Pumpkin, the beautiful mountains and potato soup!

After IKEA Kyle went to a stake Conference Session... and I went to go see Ashley June.... Yesterday was her last day at work before she goes away to college and so I decided she needed to have a true good bye..... So her Car was Covered in Post-it Notes which since she worked Office Max seemed to fit quite well!

After she got off work we went to a place in Roy that does Glow in the dark Mini Golfing and I lost horribly... and we all discovered Kyle is very dangerous! To him Mini golfing doesn't mean putting it means hitting the ball quite hard... and more then once it bounced off a rock and came flying back towards us (thankfully no one got hurt)
